What are the System Requirements for this Manual?

Microsoft Windows 95, 98, NT4, Me, 2000, XP or Vista, and Internet Explorer 4 or later installed.

The System Requirements state Microsoft Windows. Will the Manual work on a Mac?

The .exe files on the CDs can only be opened in Windows. If you have Bootcamp or other software to make your Mac work on dual platforms, then yes, it is possible.

Do you plan to create a Mac version of the Manual?

When developing The Boating Bible Manual of Seamanship, we chose to output it as executable files (.exe) because it gave us the best control over the content. The text, illustrations, video clips and animations were brought together first using DreamWeaver to create pages which were then compressed and compiled into the .exe format.

In the future we expect to develop some form of membership or community site where access to the content would be password protected. When this happens, we will let you know.

How much do I have to pay for postage and handling?

What payment methods can I use?

PayPal is our preferred payment method. Through PayPal, VISA or Mastercard may also be used.

When you've completed the order form and clicked 'Check-Out' you'll see that we have selected PayPal to process your payment securely. Click 'Submit Order' and you will be taken to a secure PayPal page where you can log in to your PayPal account.

If you don't have a PayPal account, you will see the following to the lefthand side of the screen:

In PayPal click 'Continue' to view and select your preferred option.

Please note that options vary from country to country and 'Bank' is not always available as an option.
